Easy Drain Cleaning Tips

Clean the bathroom drain without chemicals!

Rather than using harsh chemical cleaners why not consider a more environmentally friendly solution and use a Sabco Tile & Grout Brush with these ingredients: liquid dishwashing soap, white vinegar, baking soda, and lemon.

First, thoroughly rinse out your sink with hot water. Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda into the drain. Then in sprinkle white vinegar to create a paste and leave to do its magic for 20 minutes.

In the meantime, Sabco Tile & Grout Brush can be used to scrub sink and removing dirt and scum in hard-to-reach areas. Pay particular attention to tap fittings and around the drain hole where soap scum and mould can build up.

Once the sink is scrubbed, rinse with hot & soapy water. Once you’re finished cleaning, thoroughly rinse one more time and dry with the Sabco Bathroom Shine Microfibre Sponge Cloth for a fresh & sparkly clean bathroom sink! These steps can be used for shower/tub drain too.

Top Tip* If any spots remain, an All-Purpose Microfibre cloth soaked in white vinegar can be handy.

How To Clean Your Electric Kettle Guide

How to clean your kettle the natural way

To clean your electric kettle, we recommend the environmentally friendly approach of using materials you probably already have in your pantry. Electric kettles can be easily cleaned using vinegar or lemon only. The acid in the vinegar or lemon break down any stains inside your kettles. Fill the kettle with an equal part solution of water and household vinegar.

Leave the mixture to soak for a 30-60 minutes without boiling it. Then boil it for 10 minutes and allow to cool before emptying.

Rinse the inside completely and leave cold water inside for 5 minutes.

When the kettle has cooled down, use a Microfibre cloth to dry inside and your kettle is good to go!
