PLEASE NOTE: Some chemicals can cause damage to and may compromise the performance of the glue and the cellulose sponge. Care should be taken when using chemicals such as bleach or eucalyptus with cellulose to ensure the correct dilution rates are used and to thoroughly rinse the sponge with clean water after use. It is advised to check with the manufacturer of the cleaning agent regarding suitability for use with cellulose sponge mops.
Care Instructions for PVA sponge.
When PVA sponge dries, it can firm up and seize, which could cause the sponge to come off.
To avoid this ensure you re-hydrate the sponge before each use.
Step 1: Dunk the mop in a bucket of water.
Step 2: Make sure the sponge is well secured (and has not come loose when it has dried out)
